The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland received a call from a citizen who found a cat locked in trunk. There were walking near a baseball field when they noticed a trunk on a parking lot. Who would leave a trunk in that place.
They thought that , this is very strange and immediately went to check it better. When they came closer the heard some noises from inside. They weren`t sure what is that. They tried to opened , but it was closed with several locks.
They took the trunk to their home and opened it with screwdriver. They were shocked. The helpless cat was desperately meowing. How can be someone be so cruel to lock the cat in trunk without water and food?
When ARLGP came to the scene they noticed that had a flea dirt and fleas on her, but in generally good condition.
UPDATE: One family contacted ARLGP when they saw the story on the TV News. It was confirmed that , the cat was theirs. Their cat was missing for almost one week. Police is still investigating this case.
