Hurricanes and weather disasters can be fatal for everyone living in affected area. Many people lost their homes and in those moments are trying to save their lives. However, maybe the most vulnerable are animals.
Our pets are very frightened in that moment, and could run away from the home. That can be devastating for them. They can easily be lost in all that mess. Sometimes, their owners left them alone…
Today we have great news. After the hurricane, the police went on a rescue mission to save people and animals. They said that dogs, cats and all other animals often run away from them. But, not this dog.
Police officers noticed that some dog is running behind them. The abandoned dog even jumped into their police truck and demanded for cuddles. She was staying in the shelter for few months. Her owner never came back from her.
Now she is their new education dog and she will assist as a therapy dog for officers.
