These circus lions were abused for many years and used for entertainment. They were travelling countries in terrible conditions for life. They were living in trucks with no space for normal life. Poor animals were suffering.
Luckily, 33 lions were finally free and brought to a sanctuary in South Africa. They were scattered from 11 illegal circuses. Many of them are very old, and this place will be their home. It is very large area and they should feel like home.
They will be fed and cared every day. There is a team of vets to give them special care. They are free to run across the big sanctuary. This was incredibly amazing story. We are so happy for these lions. They will finally found how is feel to be alive again.
