Rescue Black Cat Saves Human`s Life By Biting His Toes During Seizures

Glen Schallman unfortunately has 3 different brain diseases, the mix of which cause common seizures. He has been diagnosed with unilateral schizencephaly and polymicrogyria – which both include abnormality of the brain – and a type of brain tumor called hypothalamic hamartoma. Clearly, seizures are always very risky, but when they happen in a sleep time, they can interfere with breathing and fast can be deadly.

Fortunately for Glen, he now has a cute buddy angel against that deadly scenario.

He adopted Blake – his black feline – from a PetSmart in Fort Worth, Texas. Blake is one year old. The most interesting thing is that the cat never had before experience or being trained for this issue. The cat somehow learned that  biting Glen’s toes will warn him and wake him up from sleep anytime when seizures happen.

The most interesting thing is that the feline has also recently developed the ability to sense when a seizure is about to come on.

Schallman is probably the oldest living human with his rare condition of brain conditions, thanks to his greatest supporter and life saver, a cat rescued by him.

Cats are very smart animals. This cat knew he helped her when she needed the most, and she is returning the love every day.
