They were shipping on the tuna boat 80 miles from the coast, when they noticed a smoke from the engine. They thought that is normal reaction. Several minutes after that the engine exploded and the boat began sinking very fast.

They called help, and safety boat arrived to save them. But, they had to swim to the nearest boat, because the boat couldn`t come very close to them , because of the huge fire.

The cats unexpectedly jumped in the cold water, and swam to the boat. They are amazing , and always make company to their owner  while they are on fishing. They forgot about their fear of water and fought for their life.

Cats survive explosion: boat explodes, pets swim to safety

Two cats left behind on a sinking tuna boat off the Oregon coast were able to swim safely to a rescue vessel. After the engine of their boat exploded, Mark and Cynthia Schneider were able to put on their survival suits and climb aboard another boat, but were forced to leave the cats behind.
