Her name is Jasmine. She is blind, but she constantly has the look like she can see beyond limits.
Jasmine was discovered walking on the streets by rescuers. Soon they realized that she couldn’t see.
“My mom saw a picture of Jasmine on Facebook from Association Adoption Feline and right away showed it to me. Immediately a felt in love with her. After contacting the foster family, we decided to go and to meet her,” Sandra Coudray told Love Meow.
“The foster family said that she was blind, but to me she is no less than any other cats. I wanted to adopt her knowing that she was blind because I had a feline who had become blind with age,” Coudray said.
“When I first saw her, she was even more beautiful than the photos. After finishing the adoption papers, we left with her.”
Jasmine has not always been blind. This wonderful cat was left alone on the streets when they found her. Living without proper nutrition and care maybe is the reason of her blindness, but the lovely cat doesn’t let anything slow her down.
She has come a long way since they found her. The kitty went from being frightened of human contact and issues to tolerate other dogs and cats to now loving kisses and cuddles and doing very well with other pets. What a bit of love can and a second chance at life .
Jasmine has grown very connected to Coudray. She snuggles next to her human mom every night and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
“Last time I went to Normandy for a several days to see my family and left her in the care of my brother. She waited for me on my bed all the time,” Coudray told Love Meow.
“Now she cannot do without us, and we can’t do without her. She brings us so much love and joy.”
