Shoppers at a local Walmart heard kitty meowing coming from under a fridge display case. No one knew how they got in there, but the rescue went underway.
A stray cat mom found a strange place to have her kitties.
A several worried shoppers heard kitten cries at a Walmart in Phoenix Arizona, they immediately warned the store manager, who later found not one, but two little kitties under one of the refrigerated display units containing sandwiches.
“Not able to reach the tiny kittens, the manager called EAMTs (Humane Society’s Emergency Animal Medical Technicians) to the scene and using a snake cam they were able to locate the kitties’ location,” Arizona Humane Society told Love Meow.
The store manager soon found that these two kitties belong to a stray cat that they saved and found a home a several days ago. They didn’t know that the stray cat mom had left her two newborn kitties among debris, pipes and wires behind the unit.
It’s still a great mystery as to how she was able to went behind the fridge in the first place.

“After few hours of disassembling the display unit, EAMTs were able to reach the kitties and save them from their frigid fate,” Arizona Humane Society said.
The kitties were just a several weeks old when they were pulled out from below the heavy appliance back in April.
They were too young to be put up for adoption, so the two little kittens were taken in by an Arizona Humane Society foster home where they were fed and cared for some time.

The kitties are now about three months old. They are now old enough to find their permanent homes.
Houdini the cream kitty made his way out of a tight situation, now he’s living happily in his new permanent home.
Grace has grown by bounds and leaps. She can’t get enough of attention from her permanent family.
Now their lives are only filled with love and warmth.
