Tuxedo Cat Found Abandoned Near Playing Field with All its Belongings!

Written by vlatkopets

This poor tuxedo feline was left in its carrier with all of its stuffs near fields in Chadderton .

The kitten was noticed around 7.30 am on Wednesday morning on Rochester Way, which is close to Crossley Playing Fields.

Chris Barker, who is from Chadderton, Oldham , was walking his puppy when he noticed the animal.

He said: “I was walking my pup when I noticed a carrier box and bag of toys and food. I thought it was empty at first and then realized there was a cat inside. It was very  scared and seemed calm and think it must have been injured because it could hardly move.

“I immediately called the RSPCA. It is so heartbreaking that people have pets and think it’s ok to just left them alone at the side of a park. They probably had thought about doing it because they had packed all of the cat’s stuff together.

“There are some really bad people out there who would do this to a poor powerless cat. It’s very sad.”

A spokeswoman for the RSPCA said that officers were called about the abandoned cat.

She said: “We were called about this abandoned cat yesterday morning and it was tasked out to an RSPCA Animal Collection Officer but by the time he came at he couldn’t see the cat anywhere. I suspect as it’s such a busy location someone may have taken the cat to a local vet’s.

“If anyone does know who left the cat or if the cat turns up and people are concerned for its welfare they can ring us on our cruelty line 0300 123 4999.”
