Mimi the cat did an incredible thing. She took in some baby squirrels and take care for them as her own.
Mimi took the little squirrels in to her human’s yard one by one and put them in her bed. How lovely! She take of the little baby squirrels all the time, and was very protective of them. She would do anything for her tiny babies! She kept them warm and safe until her human found a wildlife shelter to take the squirrels in so that they could be cared for perfectly and released back when they are old enough into the wild.

Many years ago my cat rescued two baby squirrels from the yard. Trying to find them proper help is how I became a wildlife rehabilitator. I got my permits and have since saved thousands of baby squirrels and other wildlife. This video is over 15 years old.
