This woman was devastated when she lost her cat Chuey. She lost the battle with jaw cancer. She decided showed her to Big Boy ( the other cat ) so he wouldn’t go looking for her and get lost or hit by a vehicle.
The big boy was heartbroken. He even tries to revive his best friend. They were best buddies for many years. This human did the right thing letting Big Boy say goodbye.
Just as people grieve, animals need to do the same. They also have emotions same as humans. This is a proof that animals grieve, they feel loss, they feel pain and same as people, they need to understand and say goodbye.
It’s not sick to capture on camera this moment, it’s scientific and helps us understand and see that our pets go through the same things we do. Animals have feelings and they are sad when their friends passed away.
The most important thing is that the next day he was back to his normal, happy self.
