Cats are very smart animals. And they can be very protective when it comes for their owners. Especially if they noticed that their little humans are in danger. They made a strong connection with human babies.

This strong bond is made when human mom are pregnant. They will often sit next to the pregnant human mommy. Cats won`t allow you to come near the mom. So, they are protecting the baby even when the human mommy is pregnant.

And when their little humans are born they are very curious about them. They are checking the babies all the time. And they won`t let you near them, if they feel danger. They are so smart and protective.
