Animals don`t know for boundaries between species. They love each other, no matter if other is a dog, cat, owl or similar. They help each other all the time. And they just love to play together. Often they want to sleep together warming each other.

We have seen a lot of examples of cats and dogs playing, sleeping and cuddling together. Yes, you can hear that they are enemies , but that is not true. However, I`ve never seen a so strong friendship between cat and barn owl.

The owl is like “Am I supposed to play with this thing? I’ll pretend I’m not seeing it” meanwhile the cat’s like I will just stare at him. This is probably the perfect explanation.

Barn owls are very common as pets in some parts of the world. Unfortunately, if you are not living in Japan, the chances to own a bar owl are very low. In Japan a lot of people have owls at their homes. They can be very cute pets.

The only time I know it’s possible and legal is if it is found injured as a hatchling and has to be cared for in its early years by man. If that is the case, the owl will become so used to humans that it won’t survive in the wild.

Owl did what kitties do most, ignore you. But poor cat, he really wanted to play. I wonder how many times the cat ignore him before payback time 🙂

Some interesting fact for owls : Owls have fixed eyes so they have to swivel their head to look around. They can’t move their eyes like we and most animals can. So he’s probably just looking around. You also have to know that an owls hearing is so intense that they can hear the heartbeat of a mouse. So it is probably hearing things that we can’t hear.
