Man Who Beheaded and Mutilated a Cat Is Finally Arrested

An evil man from South Charleston who had purportedly killed a cat and harm two others was finally arrested Thursday afternoon.

Wayne Nelson Mallory, 37 is charged for horrible animal cruelty.

Neighbors called the police, with a shocking information that they noticed a dead feline in the front yard of Mallory’s home.

This kind neighbor took three felines to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association. One was unhurt. She told them that her husband saw Mallory killing and torturing the poor animals.

One kitty was stabbed in the head and. Two officers immediately went to the home and found a killed cat on Mallory’s porch. After they got a search warrant, humane officers and police officers checked the home and found several cat body parts from a disemboweled cat.

The neighbor who saw this evil man said that he was holding something up in the air with one hand and with other was stabbing it with the knife.

A horrible news release from the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association Thursday said that the felines had been “ stomped, stabbed, stomped and/or skinned.” Four felines were seized, three living and one dead.

Police said the two hurt, living felines were being cared for by KCHA’s medical team and are hoping to make full recoveries.

“This is the most horrible case of animal cruelty we have ever seen,” said from the police. “We are shocked that someone who lives here can do such terrible crime over poor helpless creatures. We are committed to stop animal cruelty in our district and we are working to solve this case as soon as possible .”

If convicted, this evil man could spend up to year and half in prison. He faces up to six months in jail on each charge and/or a fine of $300 to $1,000.

Plus, he is not permitted to own any pets.
