Man Reunited With Cat Month After Pet Got Stuck in Razor Wire

A man living in Riverside finally reunited with his cat after the pet was stuck on a dangerous barbed wire one month ago.

This unpleasant incident happened mid-September, when the cat ,Surrender, was hanging from a razor wire on the fence of a Riverside store. The cat was released by Riverside County Animal Control Officers Jennifer Selter and Mary Salazar.

Surrender had to go under medical procedure and unfortunately the vets had to amputated one part of his tail after being harmed in this unpleasant accident. The razor wire was stuck deep in Surrender’s tail, and the surgery was needed.

After half an hour of trying, Selter and Salazar finally succeeded to release the kitty.

“When we first noticed the cat, the situation was very frightening,” Salazar announced. “It seemed to be struggling and feeling a lot of pain. When the rescue operation was done, this feline was very calm and nice.”

Surrender now is reunited with his human, John Pritzlaff.
