Meet tiny Matthew! This kitten was taken to the shelter last Saturday by a kind family. Before the hurricane , the family had rushed to a friend’s house to run away from the deadly hurricane. When the storm finally ended, they went into their car to go home.
They didn`t know that in the engine they had a hidden guest. After a several foot they noticed something fell off from the car. They immediately stop the car, and thought maybe some wood or can, was stuck under the car and felt down.
When they went out from the car the war shocked. A little fluffy kitty was on the ground. The kitten was injured, probably during the storm, and somehow succeeded to climb in the engine part of the car. With last strength he went on the safe place. He is a fighter. He never gave up. He was fighting for his precious life.
However, they immediately took him to The Jacksonville Humane Society. They were very busy cleaning the derbies of the storm, but their kind veterinary team immediately went to save this little buddy, who was confused and in pain. He has a two broken legs, but he is a strong boy, and will recovered fully.
They called him Matthew, but they rename him Emmett. He is one cute little brave boy. We hope she will find a new forever home and kind humans to take proper care of him, because he deserves it !
He is now on special care and healing very well. In few weeks he will be fully recovered. Now this little guy is in foster care (not ready for adoption yet). When he will be recovered completely he will be put for adoption.
