This cat was shot in her eye after she ran from her home.
“The feline was only 8 weeks old when she arrived. She was the runt of the litter,” owner Jodi Contreras announced.
Friend of this family was on the door when Jodi’s cat, Izzy, and then she run away.
She always run when the door is opened, but only around the house, and then enter inside.
Jodi’s 15-year-old son found her about one and half hours later. He opened the door and was shocked when he noticed the terrible injuries to her face.
“He said we must take her the vet right now !. You have to help me,’ and her eye was just terrible and we weren`t sure what happened to her,” Contreras said.
The vet said the kitty was shot by a pellet that is often used to shoot rabbits and squirrels.
“She wasn’t harmed anywhere else, so when I saw her I thought probably she was hit by some vehicle or maybe she got stuck in barbed fence that caused her eye to pop out,” Contreras said.
Vet costs was over 800 dollars, plus their enormous emotional pain
“This is not the first case cat to be shot,” Contreras said.
Jodi said she’s not going to sue anyone because she will never known who did that, but she has only one hope.
“For me, doing something like this or talking or posting about this case is so that probably they learn a lesson; that their actions have terrible consequences,” Contreras said.
We hope that the police will find that evil human and put him in jail for a long time. He deserves to be locked in the prison.
The most important thing is that the cat survives.
