This poor kitty was found outside a laundry room of apartment complex with burns all over his tiny body. Nobody knows how this cute kitty got those burns. It will stay unclear… There is unknown if someone put this kitty on fire, or maybe he got himself into some trouble with fire. From the shelter suspected that the injuries are probably from hiding below a clothes dryer to star warm….

Vets from the Dumb Friends League performed several medical procedures for fixing her jaw, reconstructed her ears, removed the burned fur and skin.. Slowly, she began recovering.
Only 2 months after coming to the shelter Dumb Friends League someone special appeared in his life. The woman with the similar experience. After the story of the burn kitty was on almost every local news, Gloria was the most touched one by the story.
When she was about 16 years old she had similar unpleasant experience. In that accident she burned her hands, neck and face. She was in hospital for several months, but she still has scares from that household accident.
At first, she wasn`t interested in adopting one more pet, because she already adopted several pets. However, her daughter told her that this cat is perfect for her. Plus, she got email for another friend, who also contacted her for this case.
So, as she said , there is no escape from destiny. She decided to visit the shelter center. When she saw the Phoenix – The burn cat for the first time she immediately falls in love with him. In the same time , the cat also couldn`t stop watching her next-to-be forever human.
Phoenix immediately lay on her lap and was purring so happily. That was that. From that moment the kitty got her new forever human and a new and safe family and home.
