We know that cat can start begging if they want something. We have seen a lot of videos on internet of cats begging for attention, food, cuddle time or play time. They are very similar to people in that case. Maybe they learned that from us humans, who knows.
This cat really wants attention from her human. He was relaxing on the sofa, but the cat just wanted to play or to sit next to him. We will never know. However, with her polite meowing we can assume that she really needs attention .
