This is Russel, the cat who luckily survived a fire last year and has now become a nurse of sorts at Animal Emergency Hospital & Urgent Care in North Carolina. Russel survived various traumas and third degree burns to his legs ,but this brave cat has been a resident at the hospital for a year now.
Thanks to many donations, Russel is a forever resident of the pet hospital and he is the main attraction there.
Russel makes his checks every day, visiting other patients and comfort them until the staff has to remind him to take a rest and break.
