Meet Nancy Cowne and her kind cat Cleo. About 10 years ago Nancy adopted Cleo from shelter, but unfortunately they were separated eight years later because Nancy went in elderly care home, and Cleo moved in with a neighbor. But, a several weeks ago a cat began hanging around the elderly care home.
“One stuff member of the home picked her up one day and Nancy said, ‘That cat looks like my old cat,’” recalled caregiver Laura Costello. “Then she add ‘But my cat lost part of her tail in a car accident, ‘” she said. The stuff immediately decided to look the cat’s tail and it was missing most of it. That’s when they knew it was Cleo.
“ I`m not sure how Cleo found her,” Costello told The Dodo. “There is no way the cat could have followed her, because Nancy lived far away before she arrived here.” Fortunately, the elderly care home let Nancy keep her amazing cat, so the both could spend their years peacefully together. “We were very happy. We all thought it was truly amazing” said caregiver Leslie Thomas. Share Cleo and Nancy on Facebook!
