Three years ago, a cat was rescued in the Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital’s parking lot. “In November, 2013, we got an unknown phone call to the hospital. The caller asked us to check in the parking lot,” Rachel Keyes told Love Meow. He only weighed 7 pounds, and has stage two kidney failure.
They healed the kitten and gave him the name Billy. Three years later, he became a healthy office kitten. When a daughter and father arrived to the hospital, they were welcomed by Billy. The father said to the receptionist that Billy bore a great resemblance to the cat, Tuffo, they had lost few years ago. “He would never jump over the reception desk, but he in fact did this time. It was clear that Billy recognized these people,” Keyes told Love Meow.
“Later on that afternoon, they brought in Billy’s twin brother. Instantly Billy recognized the other cat (Cotone). They got along perfectly. He recognized the entire family, and was very lovely with them.” After years of separation, Billy (originally named Tuffo) finally reunited with his twin brother and his forever human family.
