A stray cat chose a family to help her bring her tiny kitties warm and safely into the world.
Joanne T. shares the story with Love Meow:
Over a year ago, this wonderful blue-eyed Siamese cat was crossing continually by my house. We began feeding her almost every day. Every morning she would wait us in front of our garage and she would run half way down the back lane next to our car as we drove home.
This was first taken when she began coming around. She was very tiny.
She would wait for several hours while we were at work or out doing duties. One day she thanked us by waiting for us in front of the garage with a dead mouse. Once she noticed us, she dropped the mouse and she had that proud look on her face when we pleasantly accepted her gift.
A several days after we took her in and her settling in the home.
We decided to take her in once the temperature began to drop. Winter comes quickly where we live. A several weeks later, we’ve realized that her belly getting bigger. We took her in and the vet had told us that she would be ready to give birth in a several weeks and that she was already pregnant when we adopted her.
We were always told that she chose us to help her bring her little kittens warm and safely into the world.
She gave birth to a four cute babies!
After she got fixed and gained some weight!
All of her kitties have found permanent homes and this wonderful girl, once an abandoned stray, now called Annie, is member of our family.
